[LEAF] is the Lafayette Electronic Arts Festival. It is a showcase of electronic and new media arts that bridges the classical music and traditional art worlds with contemporary electronic and emerging new media, including sonic and visual elements combined in new and novel ways.

“I drove up from Colorado Springs with my 15-year-old high school son on Saturday, April 22nd [to see Bare: A Pop Opera.] He is a dancer, singer and musical theatre kiddo who is also LGBTQ and I am so glad we made the trip... It has taken me this long to process what we experienced that evening. It was vulnerable, committed, authentic, and utterly breathtaking. I wish I could have watched it over and over again. The singing, the acting, the choreography, the directing....it was all so powerful. Bare is a musical that I first heard of about a year ago and thought there was no way anyone in Colorado would ever do the show. So when I stumbled across an ad on Facebook for [The] Arts HUB, I knew I wanted to take my son but had no idea what the experience would be like. “I got to take my daughter, nephew, and mom to see Beauty and the Beast. We had a great time, and the two littles gave rave reviews! My nephew was a bit apprehensive about a theatre performance but was the first to run up to the stage to meet the Beast/Prince and Gaston after the show.
