Arts Hub Kids Film Festival

The Arts Hub Kids Film Festival is a celebration of young creativity, showcasing short films (3 minutes or less) by talented filmmakers from kindergarten through high school. Taking place on May 10th at 6 PM in Lafayette, CO, this inspiring event invites families and friends to enjoy an unforgettable evening complete with a red carpet, fun activities, and screenings of films that offer a fresh perspective on the world through kids’ eyes.

From playful stop-motion animation to heartfelt documentaries, the festival encourages kids to explore any genre or theme that sparks their imagination. Winners will receive awards, participate in a Q&A session about their creative process, and enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes field trip to PBS12! The winner will tour the studio during a live broadcast of Colorado Inside Out this summer, getting a close-up look at the control room, behind-the-scenes action, and possibly even appearing on TV.

Adding to the excitement, special guest Bruce Borowsky from the Boulder Chamber and Boulder County Film Commission will share his experiences as a professional filmmaker. Don’t miss this extraordinary opportunity to celebrate the imagination and creativity of young filmmakers while experiencing their unique perspectives on the world!
